Born, Terry L. Williford in Brooklyn NY, El Shabar "Don Stone" has been one of the most influential figures in the hip-hop community from the late 80's throughout the 90's. Having mentored and built with some of the founding pillars of the music culture, e.g.; (Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Nas, AZ, X-Clan, the Wu Tang Clan, John Forte (Fugees), Sean Price, MC Lyte, Milk D and a host of others) he was also a great influence in Canada's music scene, where he mentored "Ghetto Concept", (Kwajo Cinqo, Dolo, and Infinite) the one's who laid the blueprint down for Toronto hiphop. As a music producer, and a rapper, he's worked on a lot of your favorite rapper's and R&B singers projects throughout the 90's, where he've worked with all of major labels, and A&R's. Helping with the structuring of "Rawkus" records, (founded by James Murdock, Jarett Myer and Brian Brater) along side of his good friend and comrade "John Forte", he learned a great deal of the business while forming one of the first rap groups on the label "The Rose Family". As a music enthusiast, he formed a talent management company "MAY10TH MANAGEMENT", along side his daughter "Ineisha Williford, his son "Anthony Wilkerson", his brother "David Frost Johnson" and his close friend/brother and business partner "Wadud Richard Moore", where they've teamed up with financial manager "Horace Madison" and CEO "Kwajo Cinqo" (G7 Records) to establish the next super company in entertainment. Acclimating himself to the digital revolution, and understanding the music space, he's immersed himself by integrating his knowledge and skills to maximize the artist's visibility, and to better assist the independent artist's and all creative's alike. He's made a strong pivot into the tech space along with his protege and business partner "Sharron Battle", (CEO of Selfiepay) the two of them built a platform for creative's "Derbywire"where creatives can enter a digital market place and sell their intellectual property within a secure mobile, global community. "Don Stone" is a film writer, director, colorist and editor, founder of "DistortedLenz Productions" a film service company that focuses on writing, script development, and editing. He's also the CEO of "G7 FILMS" a newly founded film company, formed by him and "Kwajo Cinqo Boateng". "Don Stone" has single handedly written over 70 screenplays of every genre imaginable, in which they're planning several strategic alliances to launch this year. He's working with a myriad of notable people in cinema, one being "Rza", his childhood friend, " Jessie Terreo" of Cinema Giants and his brother, casting director/acting coach "Ulysses Terreo".
