Strong, silent and incredibly handsome type, Tal Ramon, was born in Tel Nof Airbase, Israel, to Ilan and Rona Ramon. His father, Ilan Ramon, was the first Israeli astronaut for NASA. At the age of 7 the family had moved to Houston, Texas. A while after the Space shuttle Columbia disaster, the family returned to Israel. In 2009, his older brother, Assaf, who was an Israeli fighter pilot, was killed when his F-16 fighter jet crashed during a training exercise. At the age of 12, Tal began playing various instruments, and from the age of 15 he began concentrating on playing Piano, on the same piano that had belonged to his late father. At the age of 26 he released his first album, a collection called "Dmut" (which means "character" in Hebrew) a collection of songs composed and written by him which he dedicated to his father, and to his brother, saying: "They both taught me to follow my dreams, no matter what...".
