Pete Comrie is a Canadian Writer, Musician and Actor from London Ontario. His Scottish parents John and Jean Comrie immigrated to Canada in 1974 with their two children William and Catharine. Pete was born in London Ontario. Growing up Pete always had a flair for entertaining and was heavily influenced by music at a young age. As a child he and his friends would put together plays and skits for family and friends. It was his older Brother William's rock Band that really set him on his musical path. William gave Pete an electric guitar and amplifier for Christmas when he was 13 years old. Although the guitar was fun, Pete gravitated towards the drums, there was no looking back from there. After graduating College Pete and longtime friend Craig Turner started jamming together and created what would turn out to be Tommyrot. (1997-2011) As a founding member and drummer of the Canadian Rock Band Tommyrot they released five studio records, Pete grounded the band through many lineup changes spanning their 14 year career. Tommyrot's music is available on all streaming platforms. Although acting played second beat to music for Pete. After a few school plays, Tv commercials and promotional videos, his first full length film opportunity came when Actor/writer/director, Brent Baird asked him to portray a sleazy bar manager "Sam" for his critically acclaimed 2020 Drama, Seeking Oblivion. Pete stays involved in the arts community and continues writing new screenplays and original story ideas for feature and short films. He is also working with Tommyrot's guitarist Jamie Sutherland on a Tommyrot acoustic project.
