Jose Calil

Native of Venezuela, moved to the U.S. at the age of four and lived in Miami, Fl. José attended Miami Sunset Senior High School and graduated in 2012. At the age of 17 and upon graduating high school, he enlisted into the Marine Corps. Served for a year at the Marine Corps Institute in the Navy Yard in Washington, DC before being interviewed and received the billet of Non-Commissioned Officer in charge while being attached to the Marine Band who are known as "The Presidents Own". He served honorably with them until August 2017, when his five year contract with the Marine Corps was completed. As of September 2017, José works as an NRA Pistol Instructor and a personal trainer. Additionally, he is enrolled at DeVry University and will be expected to graduate in June of 2018, majoring in Web-Game Programming. Upon graduating, he aspires to return to the military as a commissioned officer and serve as an Air Force jet fighter pilot.
