Jocelyn Van Tassell was born and raised in North Vancouver British Colombia, Canada. She began acting, singing and dancing in high school, then later followed her passion in to college. She attended Vancouver Acting School where she studied Voice Over for Animation and then later New Image College of Fine Arts studying Film and Television. Jocelyn then focused more on stand-up comedy in the foot steps of her father William Van Tassell an American comedian and musician.
