Anna Vialova

Anna Vialova started her career as cinematographer in 2013 when she entered Filmmaking at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv from where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. However, their teachings seemed constricted to the Post Soviet view of the art form, and she wanted to learn other techniques to express her creativity. She earned her first income through fashion photography and felt more of a connection to the avant-garde nature of work. In 2015 she enrolled in a filmmaking program in Los Angeles where she was the only student in her class to pursue cinematography exclusively. Anna returned to Kiev to continue her studies and cover Fashion Weeks around the globe. She worked for LBK Production the biggest fashion production in Ukraine. By 2017 Anna's work has been published in such magazines as ELLE, L'officiel, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue UA. After returning to the U.S. in 2018 and graduating with a degree in Cinematography, her short films were screened in over 20 festivals across the globe.
