Jason Osayamen

Osayamen, Jason was born on November 16, 1998, in Benin City, Edo State, to Nigerian parents, and the first of two children. He grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, until he moved to the UK. Osayamen attended Top HighFlyers College, Lagos, where he developed a passion for writing, acting and dancing. He then spent a year at the Pefti Film Institute, where he was heavily involved in stage plays. Osayamen attended the BFI Film Academy in London, where he made his producorial debut with the short film, Gloria and Goliath. He then went on to write a short screenplay, which earned him a spot in the top three best youth screenplays at the 2016 Newark International Film Festival. Following that, he made his directorial debut with the short film, The Girl in a Red Jacket, which was selected for numerous film festivals. He has subsequently continued to produce and direct award-winning short films.
