Clare Be was born on a rainy April Thursday in Chichester, U.K. Her parents are originally from the U.S. and although she was primarily raised in Worthing, England she is a proud dual citizen of both countries and grew up with intermittent trips back to the states to visit friends and family. Growing up she was introduced to a healthy dose of the stars of the silver screen and wanted to be the next Shirley Temple. She recollects at age 6 performing a rendition of "Singing in the Rain" for dinner guests, dancing on paper puddles her mother had cut out on the living room floor. This ardor for jumping into the fantasy of stories and bringing new experiences and escape to both the viewer and the performer has endured throughout her life. She continues to look up to greats such as Lucille Ball, Harpo Marx, Ann Miller, Danny Kaye, Norman Wisdom and Goldie Hawn and Jodi Benson. From the age of 9 Clare was home schooled in England and later returned to the U.S. for college. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a BA in Theatre Arts and a BA in Music- Harp Performance in 2013. Since graduating she has remained in California and focused on T.V., Film and Theatre and continued working as a professional Harpist. Recent film works include a harpist in Simple Wedding (2018), and a "Miscreation" in Patchwork, which received the award for best film at ScreamfestLA (2015). Her latest stage role is Cheryl Ann in Catch Me If You Can (2018).
