Mimi Cera

Mimi Cera is an American actress, designer, screenwriter/writer, and creative consultant, born under the name of Marioara Veronica Cera in Detroit, Michigan on November 28, 1969, and was raised in South Florida in the 80s as she and her parents moved to various places over time. Mimi is American/Romanian and knows English and Romanian fluently, and conversational French and Spanish. Her parents were born and raised in the Romanian part of the former Yugoslavia which is now Serbia, and where her father, Trajan Cera, has a theatrical background in Europe. Her family's ancestral lineage goes back to the infamous Romanian Emperor Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler or Count Dracula) as well as a Wiccan Great-Great-Great-Great Grandmother. It is no wonder that Mimi does love the more mysterious, wizardly, magical, dark and paranormal type of film genres. Besides having experience in film acting, voice over, and puppeteering work, Mimi has had the opportunity to use her fashion design knowledge for wardrobe design in a couple of her projects and even had a chance at being a second assistant director for one of the films she had a role in. Mimi is a very motivated hard-working actress that takes direction very well and is very easy to work with since she is willing to learn new things and is a very fast learner.
