Samuel Van Grinsven

Samuel Van Grinsven is a New Zealand born writer and director based in Sydney, Australia. His debut feature film Sequin in a Blue Room world premiered at the Sydney Film Festival where it won the Audience Award for Best Feature Film. It soon became a festival hit screening globally at festivals including Palm Springs International Film Festival, Outfest LA, TIFF Next Wave and Melbourne International Film Festival. In late 2019 the film was nominated for an AACTA award for Best Indie Film.
