Julio Cesar Trinidad was born and raised in Queens, New York, to Dominican parents Argelia Rodriguez and Julio Trinidad Sir. His mother was a home care attendant, and his father a carpenter. This CUNY valedictorian busted out the gate and onto the stage in 2014 when he was the first student in New York City to receive the 'Irene Ryan award for- Best actor' from the Kennedy Center (KCACTF) regionals. Only to do it again the following year, along with the 'Mark Twain Scholarship for- Best Comedic Actor', and other awards at the national level. His acting training also includes the conservatory at The Terry Schreiber Studios in NYC, and the LAByrinth Theatre Intensive Ensemble. His stage work includes 'Sorry' at Juilliard (NY) and the Centre de Creation O Vertigo (CAN), 'A Sweet Life' at the Samuel French Festival, 'Locura' at the Repetorio Espanol (NY), and more. He made his short film debut in 2018, with 'Riley Was Here', which garnered attention for this young up-and-comer. Since then his work has appeared at the Berlinale film festival, Tribeca film festival, Fantasia Festival, Fantastic Fest, and many others. He has also guest starred on 'Blue Bloods', and 'FBI: Most Wanted' on CBS.
