Kiril Kirilov Mitev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria four years after the country's communist government fell. His mother, an accountant, and his father, a salesman, moved to Vienna, Austria when Kiril was six years of age. His parents separated two years later and Kiril remained with his mother in Vienna where he attended a high school focused on biology and computer science. From an early age Kiril had shown great interest and passion for the performing arts which included singing on national television and hosting events. His first play was at the age of four when he played The Magnificent South Winds, a creative movement role in which he portrayed "a happy, healing, warm wind that brings joy to the world". Several years later at the age of seventeen he made his way to Montreal, Canada, where he professionally pursued acting and attended Dawson College's Theatre program. Upon graduation, he was immediately scouted by Ubisoft Entertainment in Montreal and was hired as a performance capture artist and voice actor in titles including "Watch Dogs 2" and "Far Cry 5". When Kiril turned twenty-two years of age he moved to Toronto, Canada's largest city, where he began establishing his presence in the film and TV industry. He appeared on Season 3 of the critically acclaimed sci-fi series "The Expanse". In 2019, director Mark Morgenstern scouted Kiril to act in his first feature length film titled "Moment One". Kiril Mitev lives in Toronto until this day and is actively pursuing his craft. He is also fluent in English, German, Bulgarian and intermediate French. Kiril has publicly expressed great interest in acting for his favorite franchises including ArenaNet's online MMORPG "Guild Wars 2" and Netflix's ongoing series "The Witcher".
