Evan J. Simpson

Evan J. Simpson was born on Chicago's South Side. His drive for success strongly shows through his work ethic and ability to tap into different forms of art. Evan began his training as an Acting major at the Chicago High School for the Arts in 2014. In the Summer of 2017, Evan made his professional debut on stage performing the musical In the Heights, playing the role of Sonny, at Gallery 37 in downtown Chicago. That summer, Evan started his own Entertainment Commutations business, MoshPit Entertainment Group Ltd, leading in to his work on his first Feature Film, "BEATS", on Netflix, playing the role of Laz. Evan has since studied at the prestigious Theater School of DePaul University where he planned to receive his BFA for Acting in 2022, but left to further pursue his desired profession, booking three short films post-departure, even gaining honor and wisdom, working under Nia DaCosta and Jordan Peele, in the new Monkeypaw Productions adaptation of Candyman.
