Max Coultan

Born in Brisbane in 2000, the son of Darren Coultan and Carol Coultan and brother of Maddie Coultan, Max has loved movies from the very beginning. Having been raised in a family that owned a video rental store, cinema was an important part of his early life. At age 12, he was given his first camera, and made mini music videos. In 2015, for an assignment at school, Max collaborated with Stuart Sutton to produce The Bomb. Since then, Max has made 2 other shorts (Closure and The Hunt) and two feature films (Tag and The Film From Lot 15). At the age of 17, he released The Film From Lot 15 at his local cinema, garnering a short but sweet cinematic run.
