From acting, modeling, hosting and entertaining, Jamilah Muhammad astounds all who are graced with her presence. A rising, self-made talent, born in Brooklyn, N.Y. but currently residing in Atlanta, Jamilah is crafting a solid reputation in the entertainment industry. Prior to launching her acting career, Jamilah studied with the Emmy Award winning, Michelle Watson. Since her training, she has appeared in over 20 film, television, and theatre productions. You may have seen her in Atlanta, Star, Black Lightning, Marvel's Black Panther and Hidden Figures to name a few. As a model, Jamilah studied Pearl's School of Modeling. She has modeled for Yovannas Momplasir, Runway Curls Fashion Show/Grand Opening, Swank Deco NYFW, Cobb County Gov't Fasion Show and Jason C Peters New York Teen Fashion Week. Jamilah coordinated and modeled in Walk Fashion Show, Beauty Masters Beauty Pagent/ Fashion Show. Jamilah's also been featured in multiple publications, including VOGUE Italias photo vogue, TIME Magazine (online), PDN Magazine, Solo Child Magazine and Teen Pearl Magazine. In addition to acting and modeling, Jamilah is well versed in moderating panels, hosting red carpets including the American Youth Film Festival and the Shoot Films Not Guns panel, among many others. Jamilah has also been a speaker at the Girls Who Brunch Tour, A letter to Claudette Colvin Panel and the Shoot Films Not Guns Youth Festival. Outside of acting, modeling, hosting and moderating, Jamilah is also the author of 'I'm Worth It: A Golden Weekly Planner and Jamilah Muhammad's Funky Cool Notebook Journal. Affiliated with the Girls Who Brunch Tour, the Ludacris Foundation, SCLC Foot Soldier, the American Youth Film Festival, Shoot Films Not Guns and the Pearl School of Modeling, Jamilah finds fulfillment and enjoyment giving back to her community and teaching those coming up behind her how to be better versions of themselves.
