Carl Peronto began his acting career on the set of the movie Public Enemies (2009), as a picture car driver. He was asked by Director Michael Mann to be a stand-in for Johnny Depp, in the Hotel Congress exterior driving scene. Peronto went on to play the lead character, in a movie trailer project titled 1934(2009). The movie trailer can be viewed on YouTube under Carl Peronto 1934 movie trailer. Peronto was soon featured in the film No God No Master(2013), as an arresting FBI agent and as a demonstrating Italian immigrant. Both parts made the final cut, with Carl arresting the Italian Americans Sacco and Vanzetti, and sporting a large mustache wearing red while demonstrating outside the Rockefeller mansion. Recently Peronto worked on the Rudy Ray Moore Project - Dolomite (2018), as a movie patron. Carl's 1970s look earned him a spot close to Eddie Murphy during the filming of several scenes. Peronto was part of the filming for the TV show I'm Dying Up Here (2018), during the last episode titled Lines Crossed. Carl was fortunate enough to work with Brad Garrett during the interior comedy act on stage scene. Peronto also recently worked on The Good Place(2018), with star Ted Danson. Carl was cast as an office worker, the episode will air this fall on NBC. Peronto had a small part in a TV pilot project by the Kehoe Brothers. Carl plays one of two security guards, along with fellow actor and comedian Prince. Peronto is a strong advocate of gun safety, he helped to create and play the lead in a gun safety video titled Harry Callahan and Gun Safety.
